Exchange, Return and Refunds

Your purchase is eligible for exchange only if it meets the following conditions: 

  • An incorrect size or product has been delivered to you i.e. the product does not match the item in the order confirmation email.
  • If the product you have received is damaged, please photograph the damaged part as soon as you have opened the packaging. 
  • Exchange, Return & Refund would not be applicable for Pattachitra Art work as they are made to order. As the paintings are purely hand crafted, they ought to have irregularities because of the involvement of human hands. Also they are made to order & hence not eligibel for a return.
  • Exchange, return & refund would not be applicable for Urban Sketches. Each of the creations are distinct in nature & you would receive what you see online. With the virtue of the E authentication issued by the Urban Sketch artist, it is deemed to understand that the work cannot be replicated either by the artist or by anyone. In a circumstance of such a sort, replication of urban sketches would have legal implications.
  • Items under Sale are not eligible for exchange, return & refund unless its an incorrect size or a damaged item.
  • Kantha Cushion covers, stoles & shawls are unique designs and we manufacture limited pieces. Since alot of effort & time are invested on designing, embroidering & finishing the items, it is not sustainable economically or ecologically for us to provide return & refunds or cancel the order after you receive them, unless the first two bullet points above come in to the play.

If your order meets the above criteria :

  • Please make sure to send the following details along with the pictures of the damaged within 24 hours of delivery. If not reported within this time frame, we will not be able to refund or exchange it. All returns and exchanges must be in the original packaging with the original receipt.
  • You may contact us via email at care@kalkattevaali.in or Whatsapp us through our WhatsApp chat available online in our portal. We will look into the issue and respond to you within 48 working hours.
  • A reverse pick-up will be scheduled within the agreed time. Please ensure that the product you return is unused, and original tags/stickers are intact. Please note that international orders are not eligible for returns.
  • Refunds shall be credited back to the account from which the payment was made within a maximum period of 15 days
