The circles that you see on the body of the saree have been embroidered using the running stitch technique called "Raan" in Bengali. They have been embroidered uniformely & closely & the same really matters. As for the folk lore, every space of the tiny designs traced has been embroidered by our girls in the village. We have very few embroiders who are skilled enough to agree to embroider folk sarees for it requires constant focus along with a good eye sight.
