Saree Description :
100 percent handwoven, this Pure Tussar Silk Kantha Stitch saree is exceptional, to say the least. The saree is a unique combination of maroon and coral red hand embroidered Kantha stitch : two hues from the same family, yet significantly different from one another. The authentic and classy, pure Tussar ‘gheeya’ base of this saree, only accentuates the skilful embroidered artistry of the saree. The body of the saree is an intricate hand embroidery of “raan stitch” maroon circles with red dots in the middle. This extensive pattern of embroidery throughout the body, makes the circles appear like galaxy clusters in the sky. Just the reason we chose this saree’s name to be Indrani, meaning the goddess of the sky. The coral red ‘lata pata’ embroidery bejewelled on the border and the pallu of the saree, enhances the regalia of the tapestry, a notch further. Indrani, from our collection hence is a woven allegory reminding us women, we are the ruler of the skies above and the spaces beyond!
